behind the scenes of manor house shoot!

had a great time on my latest editorial shoot at a fab old manor house with the awesome gemma and lou, and assisted by chris. one of the rooms was an amazing outdoor bedroom, complete with huge stone bath! the lord and lady of the manor used to sleep outside in victorian times due to the belief that fresh air was good for you and prevented catching TB.

apparently in the winter when the maids used to wake them up in the morning they were often found with a light covering of snow!!
