honeymoon roadtrip part 2

started off our day with an early morning trip to the hoover dam, then left nevada into arizona.

we drove parts of our journey on the original route 66, and stopped off in the town of williams to grab some breakfast and explore, some fab retro motels and proper western stores, i love places like this!

carried on our trip to the grand canyon south rim, and drove around 40 miles of the canyon, taking in all the sites and even finding time for some snowball fights.

you dont expect it to be snowing when you think of the arizona desert, and neither did a lot of the tourists who were wearing shorts and flip flops!

after the canyon we drove the scenic route to flagstaff and stopped off at another route 66 diner. filled up on burgers and milkshakes before the long drive back to las vegas!
