The Elephant House Cafe

I am a big Harry Potter fan, so popped into the Elephant House cafe for lunch.
The cafe overlooks the Greyfriars Kirkyard, which JK Rowling used to walk through on her way to the cafe, where she wrote most of the early Harry Potter books.
The school that overlooked the other side of the graveyard was the inspiration for Hogwarts, and many of the main characters names where picked from gravestones in the kirkyard.
The toilets in the cafe are a homage of graffiti from Potter fans, and indeed,
how did Neville become the hottest!!??
We bumped into the lovely Alexander, a volunteer at Greyfriars Kirk, who gave us a brilliant tour of the graveyard, and even showed us the Potter, McGonagal and Tom Riddle headstones, and told us some amazing stories from his time working there.
Feel so lucky we bumped into him, what a brilliant bloke!
